Five Sutherland House School students represented the school in a festive running event at Rushcliffe Country Park.
We arrived at Rushcliffe Country Park for 1:45pm, just in time for the start of the Jingle Jog. There were over 100 students from schools around the county, making it an extremely busy and popular event.
All our students ran with a familiar member of staff, running around the lake and receiving a Christmas sticker for each lap completed.
The majority of the students completed three full laps around the lake (which is around 1.5km) and received stickers in their Jingle Jog passport as recognition for their efforts.
The event was a great success with all the students enjoying participating and being part of a festive run. Well done to all those involved, all the staff are proud of your efforts. We look forward already to next year’s Jingle Jog!
Students who ran on the day were: Mckenzie, Jacob, Dylan and Kurt all from class 7 and Mylo from class 8.
